Applications are now open: Noor’s Popular Education School – Know Your Enemy – 2026

Know Your Enemy, a popular educational summer school, is for those who refuse to give up ground, who are not only resisting but organizing toward something better. Built for those who dream of a freer, more just world and are ready to fight strategically to get there.

In its 2nd iteration, Know Your Enemy school is more refined and equipped to host and facilitate learning rooted in feminist tactics and approaches.

This is a political formation space: practical, rigorous, and designed for people facing the far right in real-time. Together, we’ll unpack how this transnational project operates and sharpen the tools to expose, oppose, and build collective power.

What is Know Your Enemy

Know Your Enemy is a practical and rigorous political formation space tailored for those confronting the far right in real time, designed for individuals who are determined to resist and actively work collectively towards our transformative visions of a better future. Together, we will explore how this transnational FR project operates and refine our tools to expose and oppose far-right movements while building collective power. The five-week online school is a pilot program aimed at equipping organizers with strong political analysis and practical strategies for facing the far right in increasingly repressive contexts. It is committed to:

  • Foster a collective understanding of the far right as a transnational political project, exploring its ideological, cultural, and geopolitical dimensions.
  • Connect global theories of the far right with localized tactics, emphasizing narrative, propaganda, illicit funding, and institutional infiltration to enhance counteraction efforts.
  • Equip participants with tools and approaches to broaden their strategic vision and improve current practices while introducing context-specific tactics.
  • Build a dedicated cohort of 20 politically aligned participants ready to apply and expand their skills.

Over five engaging online sessions, we will explore and delve into several key aspects, including foundational theories, practical applications, and the latest trends. Each session will feature interactive discussions, expert insights, and hands-on activities and readings designed to deepen your understanding and foster meaningful connections.

  • The Story of Origins: Uncovering the context and recognizing early warning signs that set the stage for significant events.
  • Propaganda and Narrative: Analyzing how the concept of “the other” is constructed to shape perceptions and influence public opinion.
  • Infiltration and Conferencing: Investigating the geopolitical ambitions that drive covert operations and strategic gatherings.
  • Political Economy: Investigating the dark undercurrents of illicit funding, political party financing, and the rise of crowdfunding as key players in today’s political landscape.
  • Law as a Weapon, Law as a Shield: Exploring how legal institutions can both undermine and uphold rights, creating a facade of legitimacy while eroding fundamental legal protections.
